Ahead of the Premier League second round, the Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have signed a new contract with the Congolese defender, Raddy Ovouka Hokemba.

Hokemba will remain at the Accra-based side until 2024 after successful negotiations.

The left-back has been one of the standing players for the Phobians in the league this season, making 17 appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

Ovouka made his debut for the Congo national last weekend when they played against Senegal in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

He also featured in the last qualifiers against Guinea Bissau on Tuesday.
