African players abroad PREMIER LEAGUE : Masuaku returns to training at West Ham United in London

Congolese defender Arthur Masuaku has returned to West Ham United training ahead of the Premier League’s forthcoming encounters.

Masuaku suffered a leg injury in November 2020 and he was operated on the following month.

Now, Masuaku is expected to feature for the Hammers when they face Wolves on Monday.

The former Olympiakos player has resumed training with the main squad also featured for West Ham reserve.

West Ham manager, David Moyes, confirmed this Friday that his defender is back.

Everything indicates that Arthur Masuaku could be back in the squad in about a month,” Moyes is quoted saying.

He was unavailable for the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

West Ham are on fourth place on log table with 49 points.
