Seven months after his suspension as Zamalek President, Mortada Mansour announced on Monday that he wants to run for the club’s presidential elections.

The former president and his board were replaced by a new committee after his suspension.

But the powerful Egyptian lawyer is set to run for the next presidency of his club despite his ban four four years from any Sportive activities by Egyptian Olympic Committee according to KingFut.

“Mortada Mansour will enter the Zamalek elections along with his sons Ahmed and Amir Mortada Mansour,” Former Zamalek board member Hany Zada said.

“Mansour’s elections list will include most of the previous board’s members.”
