Newly appointed South Africa national men’s football head coach Hugo Broos is reportedly considering the naming of a new captain for the Bafana Bafana.

According to reliable SA media KickOff, the former Cameroon coach wants to name a younger captain as part of his plans to build a younger national team.

And SuperSport United FC goalkeeper Rownen Williams is said to be the favorite to wear the Bafana Bafana armband next as Thulani Hlatshwayo ils left aside by the 69-year-old.

“We don’t know yet. The issue of Bafana Bafana captain is decided by the coach,” SAFA spokesperson Dominic Chimhavi told Kickoff.com
