Uganda’s Cranes coach Abdallah Mubiru has named a 23-member squad to face South Africa on June 10 2021 at Orlando Stadium in a friendly.
The Cranes underwent their final training at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Monday, according to Uganda FA website.
South Africa-based goalkeeper Ismael Watenga and Moses Waiswa Ndhondhi will join the Cranes in Soweto.
Uganda are beginning life minus goalkeeper Denis Onyango who retired from national team duty.
Striker Emmanuel Arnold Okwi of Al Ittihad Alexandria Club in Egypt is now the skipper.
The hosts South Africa will be without head coach Hugo Broos who traveled back home to Belgium.
His assistants will take charge of Bafana Bafana.
