Heartland goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa will no longer travel with the Home-based Super Eagles ahead of the international fridnky against Mexico.

The goalkeeper was ruled out of the squad after failing to recover from injury ahead of the team departure.

Ezenwa picked up an injury during Monday training and all effort to get him back to full fitness proved abortive.

He will be dropped from the squad as the team will travel with Enyimba goalkeeper, John Noble and Lobi Stars safest pair of hands Valentine Nwabili.

Nigeria will now travel to the United States with 22 players ahead of the International friendly scheduledto hold on Sunday morning at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The team is expected to depart for the United States today via the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport , Abuja.
