
Patson Daka is eager to start his journey with his new club Leicester City as he can’t wait learning alongside Foxes captain Jamie Vardy next season.
After signing his contract until June 2026 with the King Power Stadium outfit, the 22-year-old scorer has now turned all focus on his adaptation to the team’s playing style.
Daka is especially proud to get an opportunity to play with Vardy as he will learn from his experience to help the team in succeeding.
The 2017 CAF Youth Player of the Year admitted that it will be a privilege for him with a striker of Jamie Vardy’s caliber.

“I have been following Leicester from the time they won the Premier League,” Patson Daka said.
“I follow their games and their playing style. Jamie Vardy is one of the players I look up to because of his playing style and the qualities that he has.
“I’m so excited to be able to have this opportunity to be next to him and to learn from him. It’s just a privilege for me.
“The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world. I have been preparing for this challenge and I know it’s not going to be easy, but no one said it’s going to be easy!“, the wonderkid added.
