Senegal claimed their second win in a row over Congo on Tuesday afternoon despite controversial refereeing decisions as Premier League duo Sadio Mané and Ismail Sarr scored to secure a 1-3 away win for the Teranga Lions.

The visitors were the one to take the lead first as Villarreal forward Boulaye Dia opened the scoring in the 27th minute.

However, a controversial penalty granted to Congo destroyed their plans as Silvère Ganvoula scored from the spot to snatch the equaliser for the Red Devils before half-time.

In the second stanza, Congo were defending at their best in order to maitain the draw which will be a good scoreline for them against the first African nation in FIFA’s latest ranking.

However, all their effort proved futile as Watford star Ismail Sarr doubled the lead for Senegal in the 83rd minute before Liverpool talisman Sadio Mané who added another one from the spot two minutes prior to the full-time.
