Europe UCL : Haaland, Bellingham power Dortmund to away win over Besiktas

Borussia Dortmund made a perfect start to their UEFA Champions League campaign with a 1-2 away victory over Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.

The German outfit started the game with a lot of pressure as they multiply many offensive actions from the early minutes.

Their good start tot he match paid off in the 20th minute when England teenager Jude Bellingham gave the lead to the away side.

Besiktas tried to level up but they failed to do so as Marco Rose’s team were inflexible defensively.

Then Norwegian goal pocher Erling Haaland doubled the lead for Dortmund in the additional time of the first half.

Spanish centre-back Francisco Montero pulled one back for Besiktas in the dying minutes of the match but it was not enough to deny Borussia Dortmund a perfect start to their UCL campaign with a 1-2 win.

Besiktas XI : Destanoglu – Rosier, Montero, Welinton, N’Sakala – Josef, Pjanic – Ghezzal, Hutchinson, Larin – Batshuayi.

Borussia Dortmund XI : Kobel – Meunier, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro – Dahoud, Bellingham – Malen, Reus, Brandt, Haaland.
