The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) are through to the World Cup play-off round after beating Benin 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

DRC scored the first goal in the 10^th minute through Dieumerci Mbokani.

Amale completed the job with the second goal  for the hosts in the 75^th minute.

The Leopards finished at the top of Group J on 14 points, three point ahead of Tanzania who shared the spoils with Madagascar 1-1 also on Sunday.

Madagascar completed the race with four points from six games whereas third-placed Benin have 10 points.
