Benzema best striker of all time

Red-hot Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema named the best striker in football history as he snubbed countryman and former Arsenal star Thierry Henry, ex-Real Madrid scorer Raul Gonzalez and three-times World Cup winner Pele.

Speaking to ESPN some months ago, the Frenchman said former Barcelona and Real Madrid goal pocher Ronaldo Nazario is his role model and is the best striker of all-time.

“Ronaldo, I’ve said it and I’ll say it again, he’s my role model. The only forward for whom I would agree to be on the bench is him“, Benzema said.

“He made me love football. Zizou was there too, but in my place Ronaldo was the one who revolutionized the forward role.

“For me, he’s the most complete striker, a role model. If you want to learn something about the striker profession, you have to see R9. ”
