Zambian winger Enock Mwepu earned the praises of Brighton and Hove Albion fans after the Seagulls beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Mwepu put in a good shift for Brighton who owed their win in the Premier League match to Leandro Trossard’s late strike at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London.
However, the supporters took time to express their views on Mwepu’s performance after he had gone to twitter to celebrate the win.
“Great team performance today. Giving our best to finish the season strong. Up the seagulls 3pts,” Mwepu tweeted.
In reaction a fan called TrevorK tweeted: “They really targeted you this afternoon but still lost.”
Another supporter Grand Pa could not agree more, he wrote: “You played your part in our win. Let’s get ready for City & put in a strong display again.”

Spurs remain on fourth place with 57 points whereas Brighton are on 10th place on 40 points.
