Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup holders South Africa have unveiled their final squad for the tournament which they will host from July 5 to 17.

The Bafana Bafana B coach Helman Mkhalele has named a 23-man squad for the tournament scheduled for Durban.

Mkhalele told South African Football Association (Safa) website he had a tough time choosing the squad.

“This was not an easy process to go through given the fact that everybody in the team showed the hunger and desire to be in the final squad,” Mkhalele told Safa.

“That’s what made it difficult but we are happy with the final 23 we have chosen. We have also made them aware of the expectations set to them going into this tournament and our first game against Mozambique.’’

South Africa open Cosafa Cup campaign with a match against neighbours Mozambique on 13 July in the quarterfinal stage.
