CHAN CHAN 2023:CAF Appoints Malian Referee For Nigeria, Ghana Game

The Super Eagles B team of Nigeria will play the Black Galaxies of Ghana in the second leg of their playoff series, and CAF, the authority that governs soccer in Africa, has named Malian Boubou Traore as the center referee.

The announcement from CAF stated that “Boubou Traore from Mali would oversee the second leg of the CHAN qualifier between Nigeria and Ghana in Abuja.”

But before that match, on August 28, 2022, the Black Galaxies of Ghana will host the opening leg at Cape Coast Stadium.

According to a statement on the Ghana FA website, the 36-year-old will be accompanied by Modibo Samake (Assistant I), Nouhouk Bamba (Assistant II), and Mahamoudou Keita (fourth official).

On Saturday, September 3, 2022, the game will be held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
