Franck Mbella Etouga was the second top scorer in the Ghana Premier League last season as he netted 21 goals to help Asante Kotoko win the league.
Few weeks ago, Cameroon legend and Fecafoot president Samuel Eto’o lauded Etouga and revealed Indomitable Lions head coach Rigobert Song is watching over him carefully.
“Mbella had a great season [with Asante Kotoko]. A few months ago, the coach [Rigobert Song] told me about him. The National Technical Director too. We are very proud of what he is doing in Ghana”, Eto’o said.
Should his move to Al Masry materialized, Franck Mbella Etouga will get more chance to be handed a national team call-up.
