FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP India High Commissioner Hosts Flamingoes In Abuja

The Nigerian Flamingoes were hosted by India’s High Commissioner to Nigeria on Thursday as part of the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup preparations.


Along with debutants Tanzania and Morocco, the Nigerian team is one of the African nations taking part in the biennial competition.


They resoundingly won all of their qualifiers, so qualifying them for the competition.

They visited the High Commissioner, H.E. Gangaharan Balasubramanian, in Abuja on Thursday as they remained prepared.

The ambassador took his time to encourage the team members and the support staff to do their best to represent the nation.

Before playing Chile and New Zealand later in the competition, Nigeria will meet Germany in the first game of their group.
