The African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2022 continues today with two games played earlier pending the West African derby between Ivory Coast and Senegal.

After hosts Algeria’s opening victory over Libya thanks to Aimen Mahious’ goal, Ethiopia and Mozambique faced off for the second game of Group A at 1pm.

But there was no winner nor goal in the encounter as both teams share spoils to get one point each.

Ethiopia are however second on Group A table ahead of Mozambique due to Alphabetic order before taking on Algeria next Tuesday.

After that game, Group B teams started their competition also with DR Congo hosting Uganda for the first game.

And the result of the game ended as that of Ethiopia and Mozambique as both teams failed to score.

In addition, Ivory Coast will take on Senegal for the highly-waited West African derby at 19:00 GMT.
