
Ghanaian forward Christian Atsu who plays for Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor has reportedly been trapped in the huge earthquake which hit the country on Sunday night.
Atsu is performing well since joining the club and even scored a match-winning free-kick for his team on Sunday.
However, things went bad for him and Hatayaspor’s Sporting Director Taner Savut have been trapped under rubble of the eqrthquake.

Reports say both of them are subject of a search by the search and rescue team.
According to CNN, more than 1,500 people have died and rescuers are racing to pull survivors from beneath the rubble which struck through Turkey and Syria.
In addition, Christian Atsu played for Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle and Bournemouth among other clubs.
