In their second match at the U20 Africa Cup of Nations, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria will face a formidable challenge as they trade tackles with Egypt, the tournament’s hosts.
After failing to respond to Souleymane Faye’s opportunistic first-half goal, the WAFU-B winners were humiliated 1-0 by West African brothers Senegal on matchday one.
Yet, Egypt’s performance was only marginally better as the Young Pharaohs were held to a boring 0-0 stalemate by Mozambique.

The Flying Eagles, however, cannot afford to lose two games in a row because that would likely be the end of their journey at the 17th iteration of the biennial international youth football competition in Africa.
