AFCON U17 Morocco Sends Warning To Nigeria Ahead AFCON U17 Tournament

Participating countries continue to prepare for the biennial U17 African Cup of Nations in 2023 as Morocco defeat Senegal in a friendly match.

The youth Atlas Lions of Morocco, Nigeria’s group opponent, stepped up their preparations last weekend with a grade A friendly.

In a warm-up game, the Said Chiba-led team overcame the highly renowned Senegal U17 team 3-2.

Many football fans were surprised by Senegal’s defeat because Senegal was regarded as one of the tournament’s strongest teams.

Morocco will face Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets in the first game of the group in April, before meeting Zambia and South Africa later in the group.

The four Algerian semi-finalists will represent Africa at the FIFA U17 World Cup, which will be held in Peru later this year.
