The 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup drawings are complete, and the Flying Eagles of Nigeria had a difficult matchup.

Following their third-place result at the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, the Nigerian squad guaranteed their spot in Argentina.

The 2015 African champions will compete in Group D of the competition against past champions Brazil, Italy, and the Dominican Republic, according to the draw made public on Friday afternoon in Zurich.

Senegal, the defending African champion, will play in group C alongside Colombia, Japan, and Israel, while the Gambia, the continent’s top finisher, will compete in group F with France, Korea, and Honduras.
