Premier League Nottingham Move Away From Relegation After Win Against Sheffield

With a 3-1 victory over Sheffield United on Saturday, Nottingham Forest moved three points clear of the Premier League’s bottom three thanks to a brace by Callum Hudson-Odoi.

In the seventeenth minute, the hosts took the lead thanks to a penalty kick from Ben Brereton Diaz.

However, ten minutes later, Hudson-Odoi’s right-footed effort near the far post gave the visitors an equaliser.

After Hudson-Odoi’s second goal gave Forest a two-goal lead in the 65th minute, Willy Boly’s header down Anthony Elanga’s pass for an unguarded Ryan Yates to fire into the net gave Forest the lead in the 51st.

With two games remaining, Forest, with 29 points from 36 games, took a significant advantage over Luton Town, in eighth position.

Sheffield was still bottom with 16 points, having already been demoted.
