Morocco Morocco Get Tough Opponents For AFCON U23 Tournament

After being paired with Ghana, Guinea, and Congo, hosts Morocco will have a challenging road to the TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2023 semifinals.

African icons Patrick Mboma and Aziz Bouderbala participated in the draw, which was held on Friday in Rabat, Morocco.

On Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, the host nation of Morocco will take on Ghana in the opening match of the TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations.

Starting at 21:00 local time (20:00 GMT), the game will begin.

In Group A, host Morocco is housed with Ghana, Congo and Guinea. Group B features holders Egypt, Mali, Gabon and Niger in what promises to be a high-flying show.

Between June 24 and July 8, 2023, Rabat and Tangier will host the TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco.

The Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat will host Group A matches, and the Grand Stade de Tangier in Tangier will host Group B matches.

The first three countries will receive their tickets to the 2024 Summer Olympics.
