Los Blancos were dominting when Kevin De Bruyne came from nowhere to net the equalizer for Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The Belgian midfielder’s goal was sumptuous, but the beginning of the action is stiring controversy.

However, referee Artur Soares Dias did not whistle and let the game continue.

With the result being 1-1 at the end of the game, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti expressed his anger towards the Portuguese referee.

“The ball was off the pitch. It’s not me saying it, it’s technology saying it”, he said.

“I think it’s strange they couldn’t control it properly but we could have won 1-0. It wouldn’t have changed a lot 1-0 but small details could have won us the game.

“The referee was not paying a lot of attention. He gave me a yellow card and I was not playing. The players, I believe, deserve more cards all over the pitch. He was not paying a lot of attention.”
