Nigerian Players abroad Ndidi, Iheanacho To Take 50% Pay Cut If Leicester City Relegates

If Leicester City is relegated from the Premier League, players like Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Ihenacho, two members of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, will see up to a 50% reduction in their salary.

The Foxes have been having trouble since the beginning of the season, and it’s possible that they could be eliminated by the conclusion.

Some fans worry that because the Leicester team’s contracts do not include relegation reductions that they will suffer greater financial hardship after the club posted pre-tax losses of a record £92.5 million earlier this year.

However, the majority of Premier League clubs often follow this process, and the clauses are thought to range from 35 to 50% for all players.

The club’s annual awards ceremony has already been abandoned by Leicester because administrators feel it is unsuitable under the current conditions.
