Football FIFA appoints Vinicius head of a new anti-racism committee

FIFA president Gianni Infantino announced on Thursday that Vinicius has been chosen to lead a new anti-racism committee established by the football governing body.

Infantino himself joined Brazil national team camp to discuss with the Real Madrid left-winger who has been regularly victim of racism last seasin in La Liga.

In order to eradicate the scourge, Vini Jr has been appointed at the helm of a newly-created anti-racism committee which will assure a game is stopped once a player is abused.

“I have asked Vinícius Jr. to be the leader of this group of players who will come up with stricter punishments against racism, which will be implemented by all football authorities”, FIFA president told Reuters.

“There will be no more football with racism in it. The games should be stopped immediately when it happens. Enough is enough.

“We can’t tolerate racism anymore. As president of FIFA, I feel I needed to talk personally with Vinicius about it.”
