Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has shed light on his persistent transfer news to leave the club insisting he is enjoying being in the headlines.
The Ecuadorian, who was a key member of Roberto De Zerbi’s squad last season, making 43 appearances across all competitions, has attracted the interest of a host of top clubs in the Premier League, including Chelsea and Arsenal with a price tag of £100m being put on his head.
With reports that Chelsea are preparing a bid to sign the player, Caicedo has commented on the matter as quoted by 90min: “It is a very great emotion. What guy would not want them talking about him? I know how to handle it,” adding: “I don’t get carried away by emotions. I am enjoying time with my family for now. I am waiting for whatever God decides. He will know what is best for me.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United have also been linked with Caicedo with reports indicating they could use Scott McTominay in a player-plus-cash deal to sign the midfielder.
Speaking after their final-day defeat against Aston Villa in May, the Seagulls manager De Zerbi all but confirmed that Caicedo and midfield partner Alexis Mac Allister – who has since joined Liverpool – would depart.
