Everton target Iliman Ndiaye is reportedly interested in joining a French Ligue 1 side as he wants to leave Shefield United this summer.

The 23-year old midfielder had a stunning season with Sheffield in Championship last season.

The Senegal international scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.

With his contract running out next year, he wants to leave Sheffield as he does not intend to extend it.

Everton has so far showed inetrest in signing hiù.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Iliman Ndiaye is in advanced talks with Olympique Marseille over personal terms and a five-year contract.

An agreement is expected soon with the Ligue 1 side planning round of talks with Sheffield for the transfer fee.

Crucial days ahead for the deal but Ndiaye wants Marseille only for the moment.
