Uganda Senkaaba among eight players released by URA FC

Ugandan Premier League outfit URA FC have confirmed releasing eight players ahead of the new season.

In a statement on their official website, the Tax Collectors said: “Eleven players have left URA FC, it’s official,” adding, “These include George Senkaaba (released) Paul Patrick Mbowa (contract expiry) Patrick Matovu (released) Benjamin Nyakoojo (released) Yusuf Wasswa (released) Hannington Ssebwalunyo (contract expiry) Kabon Living (contract expiry) Kokas Alou (released), Micheal Lubowa (released), Salim Abdallah (released) and Ronald Dickson Kigongo.”

The statement continued: “Any other developments related to the above will be communicated via our official social media platforms. We thank all the above players for their contributions to the club during their time with us. You will always be part of the URA FC family and we wish you all the best of health, happiness, and success in your future.”

URA have already made nine signings so far in this transfer window – goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa, Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani, and Godfrey Sekibengo as well as Aliro Moses Okabo, Ibrahim Wammanah, Denis Otim, and Norman Namanya.
