Uganda Done Deal: Youngster Joel Sserunjogi completes move to KCCA FC

Ugandan Premier League outfit KCCA FC have added to their squad by signing Joel Sserunjogi.

A statement on the club’s official website confirmed: “Youngster Joel Sserunjogi has completed his move to KCCA FC,” adding: “Joel, 21, is a defensive midfielder who can also operate as a central midfielder. Sserunjogi has penned a three-year deal until 2026 and he becomes the seventh player to join KCCA in this transfer window.”

What did he say after signing: “It is a great opportunity to play for the club. This is a club with a rich history and tradition, and I’m really excited to be a part of it. I know that I will be joining a team of exceptional athletes, and I look forward to working with them and contributing to the team’s success. The Manager has already spoken with me and told me how he wants me to help the team and I am excited to get started.”

According to the statement, Sserunjogi’s contract has got an option of extension for an additional year after the completion of three years. Joel has previously played for Kajjansi United FC and in the Masaza competition for Buddu and Busiro.
