In the women’s 100-meter hurdles semifinal, Amusan ran the fastest time ever, clocking in at 12.12 seconds, and in the final, clocking in at 12.06 seconds; both times were deemed wind-aided.

The globe was in awe of the magnificent delivery.

She is the lady to beat going into the Budapest 2023 competition, but her July suspension has placed doubt on her ability to defend her championship.

Following a sluggish start to the season, she recorded a 12.34.

Prior to the Budapest athletics showcase, Nia Ali has a 12.30 second world record.

The 12.31 season best belongs to Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Kendra Harrison.
