
Cameroon did the job to secure their AFCON 2023 ticket by defeating Burundi 3-0 in Garoua tonight with a goal from their maiman Vincent Aboubakar.
The Swallows had the ball possession in the first half with 6 shorts on target but all of them were saved by Andre Onana who was in the sticks for his comeback in the national team.
On fire Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo scored the first goal only a minute into the second half with a big haul of Burundi’s defence.

Christopher Wooh and Aboubakar in the additional time netted the other goals to send Cameroon to Ivory Coast alongside Namibia in Group C.
The group stage draw for the competition will be sheld on October 12.
