Former Chelsea Defender Jason Cundy believes Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham will surely win the Ballon d’or in future.

The 20-year old has a dreaming debut with Real Madrid where he scored 5 goals in his first 4 appearances.

Bellingham has been deservedly named La Liga’s August Player of the Month and his recent performances with England show he is not ready to stop this soon.

Speaking on the former Dortmund’s evolution, Candy said he will win Ballon d’or award in the future.

“Jude Ballon d’Or. That is what he should be known as. Because that boy is going to win the Ballon d’Or at some stage”, he told talkSPORT.

“He is that good. This kid has got the lot. You mentioned Zidane… This kid is off the clock. We are watching something special in front of our eyes.

“This kid will surpass what Gazza [Paul Gascoigne] has done. I promise you. He’s not far off now. He only turned 20 in June. I watched Rooney develop and he was the most sensational teenager I’d ever seen. When we watch Bellingham in an England shirt, this kid is incredible.”
