Onome Ebi, the captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, has joined Naija Ratels of the Nigeria Women Football League after going unattached for a few months.
Before heading to Europe, the 40-year-old defender began her career with Bayelsa Queens on the regional stage.
She left the Spanish club Levente Las Planas early this year after playing in various international nations, including Turkey, China, Belarus, and Sweden.

After coming to terms with the club’s administration, Ebi agreed to sign up with the NWFL team.
The lanky defender, who participated in the FIFA Women’s World Cup six times, held the record for most appearances.
