Molefi Ntseki

Dstv Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs have announced the sacking of Molefi Ntseki at the helm of their first team as the South African was having a difficult start to the new season.

The Amakhosi Boys won none of their last three games (3 losses against Shekhukhune United, Cape Town and AmaZulu) and are only 8th on the league table with 3 wins, 4 losses and 2 draws.

The results became concerning and Kaizer Chiefs officials decided to restructure their sporting section starting with Ntseki who has been appointed as the team’s head coach only in June.

“Following a meeting on Monday morning, Molefi Ntseki’s tenure as Head Coach of Kaizer Chiefs has ended amicably by mutual consent. “Cavin Johnson, who recently joined Chiefs as Head of the Youth Development Academy, will take over as the First Team coach on an interim basis. Current assistant coach, Dillon Sheppard will retain his position under Johnson.

“Assistant Coach, Arthur Zwane will return to his former role within the development structures of the Club.”
