CAF Oshoala, Chiamaka Make CAF Women’s Award Shortlist

The women’s shortlists for the 2023 CAF Awards have been revealed by CAF with Super Falcons duo, Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie making the final list

Ten players are still in the running for the coveted individual Player of the Year award.

In contrast, there are five nominees for each of the other categories, which include Club of the Year, National Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Interclub Player of the Year, and Keeper of the Year.

A voting panel made up of the CAF Technical Committee, media experts from Member Associations, head coaches and captains of Member Associations, and clubs participating in the Interclub tournaments’ group stages will choose the final winner in each category.

On Monday, December 11, 2023, the Awards Gala will be held at the Movenpick Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco.
