The 100-meter and 110-meter hurdle races, as well as the women’s and men’s 200-meter races, will be the main attractions of the season, which is scheduled to begin in Xiamen, China on April 20.

In September of last year in Oregon, Amusan created history by becoming the second woman, after Dawn Harper of the USA, to win three straight Diamond League 100-meter hurdles titles with a timing of 12:33 seconds.

After winning the Diamond League trophy for the first time in 2021 in 12.42 seconds, she went on to successfully defend it in 2022 in Zurich, where she dipped in 12.29 seconds.

At least 14 Diamond disciplines are anticipated to be present at each of the 14 series sessions. Due to stadium improvements, the 2024 Diamond League season will also see two venue changes: the Shanghai meet will now be held in Suzhou, and the Rabat event will now take place in Marrakech.
