AFCON NPFL: Yemi Says Enyimba Ready To Go Against Rivers United

Olarenwaju Yemi, the assistant coach of Enyimba FC, has announced that his team is prepared for the rescheduled NPFL game against Rivers United.

In a crucial match on Tuesday, both teams will square off at the Adokiyie Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Yemi predicts that because the Pride of Rivers will be looking to get points in their impressive games, the game will be quite competitive.

He said: “We know it’s going to be a tough game.

“Rivers United are up there and takes every points available for them in their outstanding games so that they can come up.

” It’s a good to be a competitive game and I think we are ready to go for it.”

On his part, Ani Henry Ozoemena stated that the team is ready for the match in Port Harcourt and that their opponents won’t be simple pickings.

“We came back from Shooting, picking the three points there and we know Rivers United is not a team to play with.

“We are all prepared and definitely we are coming back home with something.”

The league will begin this weekend for the second stanza.

After 15 matches, Rivers is in 14th place on the log, and the People’s Elephants of Aba are in third place.
