African players abroad Jackson, Wissa Score In Brentford Vs Chelsea Game

African players were the epicentre of Saturday’s Premier League game between Brentford and Chelsea.

Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka played full time and provided assist while Senegal forward, Nicolas Jackson scored for Chelsea as well as DR Congo forward, Yoane Wissa.

Jackson scored Chelsea opening goal in the 35th minutes to put the Blues ahead going to the break.

However , Brentford leveled through Mads Roerslev who pounced on loose ball in the Chelsea box in the second half.

Super Eagles midfielder, Onyeka provided an assist for DR Congo forward Yoane Wissa to give the Bees the lead in the 69th minute.

Chelsea fought back to earn a point against Brentford in a 2-2 draw after defender Axel Disasi headed an 83rd-minute equaliser in the West London derby from a Cole Palmer’s crossed.

The victory means Chelsea remain stocked in 11th position on the Premier League table while Brentford are six points above the relegation zone.
