Victor Boniface, the injured forward for the Nigerian Super Eagles, is expected to make a comeback before the year ends.

This was contained in an update from BayArena, the home of German Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen.

While training with the Super Eagles for the 2023 African Cup of Nations, Boniface was hurt.

After a successful surgery, he started his recuperation with rehabilitation.

According to the club medics’ update, Boniface is expected to return either on March 30th against Hoffenheim or on April 3rd against Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Prior to sustaining an injury, Boniface scored 10 goals in 16 games.
