Tanzania President Samia Suluhu Hassan has doubled her goal motivation package for Premier League clubs Simba SC and Young Africans (Yanga SC) from 5m/- to 10m/- per goal.

This ws disclosed by the Minister for Culture, Arts and Sports, Dr Damas Ndumbaro in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday. He announced this during a meeting with officials from the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) as well as Simba and Yanga management.

“Even President Samia Suluhu Hassan is ready to support these teams to reach far in the CAF Champions League…she has doubled her goal motivation package from 5m/- to 10m/-,” said Ndumbaro as quoted by Daily News, adding: “She wants these teams to do well and reach in the finals…in order to achieve this, we should all support our envoys.”

Simba are gearing up to face Al Ahly of Egypt in the first leg of Champions League quarters at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on March 29 while their rivals Yanga will take on Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa at the same venue on March 30.
