CAF Champions League CCL: Yanga SC issue Pacome, Aucho injury updates ahead of Sundowns match

Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans (Yanga SC) have given updates on their five players who are on injury list ahead of CAF Champions League first leg match against Mamelodi Sundowns on March 30.

The club’s Media and Communication Manager Ally Kamwe on Thursday in Dar es Salaam says Pacome Zouzoua who suffered a knee injury is being treated by Ivory Coast team doctors. The Ivorian limped off the pitch early during their previous league match versus Azam at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the city after picking the injury.

For Khalid Aucho, Kamwe says he is progressing well with treatment and has entered the second phase of his recovery.“

“Yao Kouassi who sustained a hamstring injury has a 50-50 chance to be featured for Sundowns match while the health of Gift Mauya has improved and full-back Kibwana Shomari is expected back in training on Monday,” said Kamwe as quoted by Daily News.

Kamwe further revealed free entry charges for Ordinary Seats bearers while VIP A, B and C will go for 30,000/-, 20,000/- and 10,000/-.
