South Africa Kgatlana Optimistic South Africa Can Beat Falcons To Paris Olympics Ticket

Banyana Banyana attacker Thembi Kgatlana has maintained that the game is still ongoing despite their loss against the Super Falcons.

Rasheedat Ajibade’s penalty kick in the 43rd minute gave the Super Falcons the lone goal they needed to upset South Africa.

The striker, who was formerly based in Spain, was disappointed with the result of the match but thought they could reverse the situation on Tuesday in Johannesburg.

The result will be on Tuesday,” Kgatlana told reporters after the game.

“We will be at home, familiar with the conditions, that will be an advantage.”

The victor of the two legs advances to the Olympics in Paris, with the second leg scheduled for Loftus Stadium in Pretoria on Tuesday.
