The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) announced its 2023–2024 Manager of the Month of March winner, Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers International.

With three wins in five games, including two away victories over Niger Tornadoes and Heartland, Rangers have rolled to an undefeated run under Ilechukwu, scoring seven goals along the road and topping the NPFL standings.

After having been nominated in October 2023 and February 2024, Ilechukwu becomes the first Rangers tactician to win the manager’s award this season.

A breath of fresh air arrived at Akwa United in March, largely because of the enormous contribution made by Suleiman, who is currently being recognised with a Player of the Month award, ahead of the Rangers duo of Godwin Obaje and Ejike Ugochukwu, Adams Olamilekan of Remo Stars, Christian Pyagbara of Shooting Stars, and Nenrot Silas of Plateau United.

During the month under review, Suleiman scored five goals, two of which were the catalysts for a surprising victory away at Plateau United and a convincing victory at home against the reigning champions Enyimba.

Both individuals are being honoured by the League Bloggers Awards and its sponsors, 54Footballx, and will receive their awards this weekend at their home fields.
