Tanzania Blow for Yanga SC as FIFA bans club for breaching regulations

World governing body FIFA has banned Tanzanian Premier League champions Young Africans (Yanga SC) from sealing transfer deals after breaching FIFA’s Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP).

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has confirmed the development on Friday through their official Instagram account. “The decision has been made by FIFA after the club failed to concede Annexe 3 of RSTP,” the statement says.

It further highlights that Yanga did not enter evidence of payment of the concerned player in the Transfer Matching System (TFS) despite being reminded to do so.

“The club is tasked to adhere to the available regulations and submit the information to the Secretariat of FIFA Disciplinary Committee where the issue has been taken for further action.

“Following FIFA decision, TFF has since banned Yanga from conducting domestic player transfers,” it says.
