Beyond Limits won the 2023/24 Nigeria National League (NNL) season by defeating Nasarawa United 4-3 on penalties in the final of the Super Eight playoff in Enugu.

The closely contested final finished 2-2 in regulation time.

In the 28th minute, Farouq Ogundare scored from the penalty spot for Beyond Limits, while Nasarawa United equalised five minutes later through Annas Yusuf.

Beyond Limits regained the lead with Shina Ayodele one minute after the break, but Peter Eneji equalised 12 minutes later.

Beyond Limits scored four times in the penalty shootout, while Nasarawa United converted only three of five.

The two finalists, as well as El-Kanemi Warriors and Ikorodu City, have already earned promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
