Namibia coach Bobby Samaria has named a provisional squad for the Brave Warriors’ forthcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) engagements.
In-form striker Peter Shalulile and Benson Shilongo are among the leading players in the squad ahead of Group C meetings against Cameroon and Burundi.
Another group member Kenya has since been banned and won’t participate in the qualifiers alongside Zimbabwe who are also out of the running for Group K.
Meanwhile, Samaria has appointed Paulus Shipanga as his righthand man for the matches against Burundi and Kenya.
Shipanga replaces Robert Nauseb who was the assistant coach since 2019.
