Top seeds Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci took just 47 minutes to reach the quarterfinals of the Qatar Total Open.
Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci continued their recent dominant play with a routine victory in the second round of the Qatar Total Open on Wednesday.
In the 47-minute, Errani and Vinci never faced a break point, , 62 62 defeat of Kristina Barrois and Eleni Daniilidou. That put their winning streak at 11 matches, consisting of titles at the Australian Open and Paris (Indoors), a match in Fed Cup action last weekend and their Doha opener.
Speaking of Raymond, she is among those on Thursday’s schedule, as she will take the court with Samantha Stosur for a second round match-up against Janette Husarova and Zhang Shuai. Raymond and Stosur have not paired up much in recent years but have an illustrious history together, with 20 titles – including two Grand Slams and two WTA Championships.
