Despite failing to reach the final of this season CAF Champions League, Mamelodi Sundowns have booked their place in next year’s FIFA Club World Cup.
Mamelodi Sundowns were eliminated from the tournament by Esperance after the Tunisia side stunned the Masandawana in Pretoria to qualify on 2-0 aggregate.
However,FIFA confirmed that the African Super League champions will join Al Ahly, Esperance and Wydad Casablanca as CAF representatives in the expanded Club World Cup.

FIFA confirmed the four Africa teams in a post on its official X platform following the conclusion of the semi final games of the CAF Champions League on Friday next night.
