Cycling The U.S. Department of Justice complaints against Armstrong

Lance Armstrong did not end with legal troubles.

Stripped of his titles on the Tour de France, struck off for life for doping and pursued by the Insurance Company “Acceptance Insurance Company”, the former seven-time winner of the Tour must now deal with a complaint from the U.S. Department of justice (DOJ) regarding the use of public funds for his former team, the U.S. Postal according to AFP.

He is suspected of embezzling some of these funds, $ 40 million for the team of which 17 for he alone in order to fund the doping system.

If convicted, Lance Armstrong will pay the sum of $ 150 million to repair the prejudice.
